05/22/2025 --  If you are serious about your vision, go to The Eye Place. I am an airline pilot, a hunter, a shooter, a boater and a fisherman. Vision is critical in all of these activities. I have been a patient/customer of Shellee Rubin for over 25 years. Her customer service is EXCEPTIONAL! She has opened her business on days off and has stayed late to accommodate my schedule. Her recommendations on frames that are both stylish and fit my face are always “spot on.” If you need progressive lenses, you have to ask her about lenses by Shamir Optical! These lenses have the most subtle prescription gradient over the surface of the lens. They are OUTSTANDING! The transition from near to far vision is effortless – it is like being a teenager again with 20:12 vision. I am not exaggerating when I say, “If your livelihood or your life depends on your vision, come see Shellee at The Eye Place.”

01/17/2025 --  In thirty years of buying glasses at various establishments, I have never been better treated than by Shellee at The Eye Place, Peabody. There was a wide selection of reasonably priced frames and Shellee was only too pleased to help me select the most appropriate. Her manner, while very professional, was warm and welcoming, the service was speedy and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

12/13/2024 -- Shellee was so wonderful is helping my 3 year old daughter get fitted for her new pair of glasses. She was so friendly and made my daughter feel at ease. 10/02/2024 -- The right stem from my absolute favorite pair of eyeglasses broke. I’ve never had eyeglasses repaired so I Googled “eye glass repair” and came upon The Eye Place. I called and made an appointment for the next day. Shellee assessed my situation and repaired and replaced both stems of my glasses like a plastic surgeon. She not only made my glasses strong and secure but the aesthetic was beyond my expectations. Thank you, Shellee!! I cannot recommend her services highly enough.

09/18/2024 -- New customer, purchased glasses here 2 weeks ago. I could not be happier with the super service by Shellee. She helped me find the best fitting frame for me, and since picking them up, I have not thought about them a bit after putting them on. The lenses are superior to my previous pair in all ways. 6/28/24 -- On June 28th I got a new prescription for my eye glasses and had an excellent experience with Shellee at The Eye Place. I discussed how frustrating it had become to use two pairs of glasses. Shellee suggested trying bifocals, but I was not sure if I would get used to them. Shellee gave me the opportunity to try them, and said if i didn't like them she would put just my distance vision in the glasses. She was so nice and kind, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get used to them and went back --- she was very happy to change them for me, at no cost.
